Nurburgring

The Nurburgring is surrounded by forest, giving it a true German feel. The original course was famous for its length - in incredible 22 kilometres - however, the present course was developed from the view of safety for Formula One use. In 1998, it posed as host of the Luxembourg Grand Prix. The chicane running behind pit lane is noted as the fastest brake and overtake point in Formula One competition and an excellent position from which to watch the race. As the course layout calls for the use of large rear wings, the Panasonic name should stand out clearly.

Access

There is a shuttle bus from Koblenz Station, which is approximately 1 1/2 hours by train from Frankfurt. (Airport: FRANKFURT, KOLN)

Climate

The circuit is located in a mountainous area, making rain showers a common occurrence. Mornings and evenings also tend to be chilly at this time of year.
