Sepang

Located close to Kuala Lumpur's international airport, this modern circuit was constructed as a national project. The course features all types of corners, from tight low-speed corners to flowing high-speed ones, challenging the drivers'skills. An even more significant factor, however, is driver endurance. Situated almost exactly on the equator, SepangOs weather is extremely hot. The course also challenges the endurance of the engines and tires. As there is the strong possibility the course will be hit by the frequent squalls characteristic of this part of the world, strategy becomes especially important.

Access

Approximately 5 minutes by car from Kuala Lumpur's international airport and less than 1 hour by bus from downtown Kuala Lumpur. (Airport: KUALA LUMPUR)

Climate

Extremely hot and humid, and also subject to occasional squalls. Care must be taken not to succumb to the heat.
