An infield course was constructed within the surrounding oval-shaped course ahead of the reintroduction of Formula One competition here from 2000. The best viewing is to be had at the final corner (part of the original oval course) as the Formula One machines work their way up a sharp incline. The massive grandstands surrounding the course offer perfect viewing of the course in its entirety. It is also easily accessible, making it a popular course for spectators.
