Autodromo Nazionale di Monza

Monza boasts the fastest average speed of all Formula One circuits. And although top speeds easily exceed 350 km/h, there are very few overtaking opportunities, which means you often see machines that do well in qualifying get away from the field in the race. At Monza, it is possible to enjoy not only the race itself, but also the spectators. While not quite as extreme as at Imola, the support from the tifosi (Ferrari fans) is always extremely enthusiastic, especially at the end of the race when they can be seen to swarm en masse onto the course after the chequered flag. This is one race where you can easily become swept up in the atmosphere of the lively tifosi.

Access

There is a bus from Monza Station, which is approximately 20 minutes by train from Milano. (Airport: MILANO)

Climate

In some years the late summer heat can be oppressive.
