Competition was tight in qualifying with many drivers separated by a mere 0.1 second. Despite this and the wind, Jarno finished strongly in 8th.

With a lack of grip hindering his progress, Glock’s determined performance was not enough to give him a berth in Q3.

With few to no overtaking opportunities at the Spanish GP, Glock’s slow start was the beginning of a tough race.

Jarno was running strong in 6th position midway through the race, but went on to finish in 8th.

Glock suffered damage to his front wing when he and a rival collided, so his 11th-position finish was the absolute best he could do.
